The Principal, Susan Roth, AICP has been working as a professional planner and architectural historian since 1992.  Her experience includes municipal land use planning and zoning, historic preservation, master planning, environmental review (SEQRA), and economic development projects.  She has served as consultant planner in approximately 20 communities in New York previous to her starting HVPP.  Ms. Roth has a Bachelors in Art History/Fine Arts,  a Masters Degree in Regional and City Planning, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration.  She has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners since 1995.

Ms. Roth has been involved in preparation and/or review of Environmental Impact Statements for the City of White Plains, the Towns of Cornwall, Goshen, Hamptonburgh, Ramapo, Monroe, Clarkstown, Woodbury, Stony Point, and Montgomery, as well as the Villages of Goshen, Upper Nyack , Warwick, Chestnut Ridge, Airmont and Kiryas Joel. She also has unique experience with environmental reviews conducted for School District Improvement Plans.

Ms. Roth co-wrote the Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, first Historic Resource Plan, and has assisted the U.S. Post Office with Section 106 Compliance for Historic Preservation Reviews.  Additionally,  she has lead several large community architectural surveys and studied or listed over 5000 buildings for various Historic Preservation designations.
